Our recent film shoot for feature documentary The Builders of the Alhambra has captured the attention of the media, thanks to its unique approach and star-studded cast.
The emblematic film, which stars the famous Egyptian actor Amr Waked in the role of Ibn Al-Jatib, will bring the Nasrid society of 14th century Andalusia to the screen for the first time by combining 4K footage and high resolution CGI. Principal photography of fictional sequences and reconstruction scenes has been filmed on location in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Alhambra palaces in Granada, Spain. Testimony from leading academics will complete filming in the coming months.

Currently in the 4K filming phase, this project will recreate the Nasrid of Granada combining narrative elements of traditional documentary with historical recreation, CGI and digital 3D. It tells the story of the visionaries who dreamed, designed and built the emblematic fortress, seeking to achieve the formula of perfect beauty. Media España
